Senior Cost Accountant

Your responsibilities

Maintain and enhance standard costing systems (material, labor, overhead)
Analyze manufacturing variances, cost of goods sold, and profitability
Oversee inventory accounting, reconciliations, and physical counts
Support month-end close, journal entries, and financial reporting
Evaluate cost impacts of product, material, and process changes
Partner with operations and supply chain to improve cost accuracy and margins
Support capital projects, fixed assets, and cost tracking
Assist with audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
Drive continuous improvement in processes and ERP systems

Your profile

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5+ years of cost accounting experience in manufacturing
Strong knowledge of standard costing, inventory, and variance analysis
SAP ERP system experience and advanced Excel skills
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
